Camper Registration

Using our site, you'll be able register online. After you complete the registration and receive your confirmation, you may make a payment online. We hope this system will be an easy, convenient way for you to manage your registration, purchases and donations. Please read all of the information below regarding registration.

REGISTRATION FORM

  • The link to the registration form will not be viewable until 8:00 P.M. US Central time on January 15th, 2008.
  • To access the REGISTRATION FORM, click the link "Click here to Register" in the registration box.
  • As in past registrations, you must to refresh your browser after registration opens at 8:00 P.M. US Central time on January 15th, 2008 to view the registration link.

PAYMENT -You will NOT be required to make a payment during the registration process. This will help insure all campers are able to register online.

REQUIRED INFORMATION

  • All registration form fields marked with " * " are required.
  • Parent's email address is required.
    • A valid parent's email is required at registration.
    • The parent's email must be entered the same in two fields on the registration form:
      • Field 1 - "Parent's Email Address" and
      • Field 2 - "Re-Type Parent's Email Address."

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

  • A confirmation ID number will be included at the top of the confirmation page.
  • The confirmation ID number will also be emailed to the Parent's Email Address entered on the registration form.
  • Print and/or record the confirmation ID number.
  • The confirmation ID number will be used along with the camper's first and last names to identify the camper.

IF YOU DID NOT ATTEND CAMP IN 2007

  • It is vital that you register immediately when registration opens on January 15th, 2008.
  • Returning campers will be placed first.
  • Open spots are granted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • The earlier you register, the higher your name will be on the placement list.

You will not be required to pay during the initial registration process. When your registration has been confirmed, you will be contacted.

IF YOU ATTENDED CAMP IN 2007

  • Your spot for 2008 is guaranteed. However, you must complete registration by February 15, 2008.
  • If you do not register by February 15, your spot will be considered open, and new campers will be placed in it.

After you complete the registration form, you will be taken to a secure site where you can make payment arrangements.

More Registration Information

Who can attend?
Our youngest campers are those who will be entering 5th grade next year. Our oldest campers are those who graduate from high school this year. Campers are grouped in cabins and classes according to their grade level and gender (5th-6th, 7th-8th, high school).

How long are the sessions?
We have one-week and two- week sessions throughout the summer. First, third and fifth sessions last for one week, while second, fourth and sixth sessions last for two weeks. All sessions are open to all age groups from 5th through high school.

What is the cost?
One-week sessions: $160
Two-week sessions: $295

This cost includes room and board, curriculum, and activity costs: everything that campers do at camp EXCEPT for purchases made at our Trading Post, a camp fishing license, and certain projects they may elect to purchase in crafts. Parents can deposit money in their camper's account at camp, and campers are issued cards to make purchases during Trading Post and craft time.   When you register, you'll be required to pay the registration fee ($80 for a one-week session; $147.50 for a two-week session), but at that time, you may choose to pay the full tuition amount.

Returning Campers
As always, our returning campers will have a "guaranteed" spot at Blue Haven IF they complete registration and pay the registration fee (online or by regular mail) by February 15th, 2007. Answers to any questions you may have have about payments can be obtained online or by calling 325.646.2728. This will also help us to stay in touch with campers and parents by email with last minute updates or information.

First-Time Campers
Because our returning campers are "guaranteed" a spot when they register before February 15th, it is vital that all new campers register as early as possible. New campers are placed on a "first come, first served" basis. This means that on February 15th, once all returning campers that have made the deadline have been placed, we will begin placing new campers in the order that their registrations were received.

New campers should register immediately when registration opens on January 15th. We have nearly 1200 campers throughout each summer. An additional 300 or so are placed on a waiting list, but they never get to come to camp because the session and age group they selected had no openings.

What if I'm placed on a waiting list?
If you are a new or returning camper who missed the February 15th deadline and there are no more openings in your section, we'll let you know by email. Your registration fee will be refunded until you are placed. We'll also let you know which sessions DO have openings in your age group. You may want to attend a different session this summer so that you can ensure that you are a returning camper next year with a guaranteed spot.
